On the occasion of the museum's 20th anniversary, Mufoco-the only public museum in Italy dedicated to contemporary photography, located near Milan-has
commissioned Dotdotdot to design and implement the new digital touchpoints. Mufoco has a collection of more than 2 million works, which for obvious issues
of space has never been given the proper space. Thanks to our work, these works have instead found a new way to be explored.

For Mufoco, we made a structure consisting of 6 LED arrays, to be placed outside, while once you enter you can immediately find the first interactive
touchpoint. With 6 screens and a touchscreen frame, users (up to 3 at a time) can explore the museum's endless collection, starting with a photograph
and exploring the archive by authors, dates, genres and themes.
Among the project's biggest challenges was precisely creating a Web experience capable of processing such a large number of images, both from a technical
and a UX and UI perspective.
